LeBron Raymone James Sr. Born on 30 December 1984 is a professionally-trained American basketball player. King James is widely regarded as one of the top basketball players and is frequently compared with Michael Jordan when discussing the most famous basketball player. James was awarded two Olympic golds, as well as four NBA championships. James has scored more points in the playoffs, has had the second most points in his career and has the seventh-highest number of career assists. Alongside being an NBA All-Star, James was selected for his NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. The third highest amount in NBA Finals ever was ten which included eight consecutive games between 2011-2018. James was picked to join the NBA75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022 he became first NBA player in history to earn at least 10,000 points in a career. James played for St. Vincent St. Mary High School, in Akron Ohio. The national media celebrated him as an NBA player of the year. As a prep-to-pro player, he was chosen to the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in 2003's NBA draft. Following his selection as 2004's NBA Rookie Of The Year, he soon established himself as an elite player in the NBA winning the NBA's MVP award both in 2009 and 2010. James was a free agency following his failure to earn championships in Cleveland. The decision to quit Cleveland for Miami Heat, announced on the show on television The Decision, is considered one of the controversial free-agent decisions in the history of sports.
