LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) is an American professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James is widely regarded as one of basketball's greatest players. He is often in comparison to Michael Jordan when discussing the most well-known basketball player. James has won two Olympic golds and four NBA titles. James holds the record for the highest number of points scored in the post-season. He is second in overall career score and 7th highest number of career assists. It is a NBA record that he's been an NBA All-Star for 18 years. In total, he has played in 10 NBA Finals, the third-most in history. It was eight in a row from 2011 to 2018. James made part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. He was the first NBA player to earn 10,000 points in his career. James was a student at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio, where he grew up. The national media praised James as a possible NBA star. To prepare for the pro game his dream, the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the first pick overall in the NBA draft in 2003. He was voted the NBA rookie of the year in 2004. Soon he became one of the top players of the NBA as he won the NBA MVP Award in 2009 and 2010. James, who failed to be crowned the champion in Cleveland in 2010, left as a free agent and joined the Miami Heat. This was disclosed in The Decision.
